Proud Supporter of Autism Dog Services - Autism Dog Services Inc. approached Ludwig's Doodles after meeting one of our puppies that is  with the National Service Dogs Autism program.  I was impressed by their program and agreed to donate a puppy for their program in exchange for a link on their website.

Ludwig's Ivy F1B Goldendoodle (mother), daughter of (Bear and Dharma) had 7 beautiful healthy F2B Goldendoodle puppies on St. Patrick's day 2010 (March 17)!  The proud father is - Highview's Murhphy.  This is a repeat breeding for both Ivy with Murphy.  Gorgeous puppies that are affectionate, athletic, loving, intuitive and have manners.  Train them to be a fantastic addition to your family or organization.  If laughter heals then get well with our pups.  Available puppies link- updated June 24th  To be added to the waiting list - click here

The Ludwig family moved from Toronto to Zephyr - under 1 hour from Toronto almost 3 years ago.  Us city folk have moved with our dogs and 4 children to a large property where our dogs and children can run and feel free.  Unfortunately we are not in Toronto so it is further to come meet us and see our puppies available.  It's 20 minutes north east of hwy 404 and Davis Drive.

Our breeding program is focusing on the higher generations of the Goldendoodle, multi-gen.  We have been producing non-shedding, allergy friendly, solid structure, strong head, active, smart, alert, calm, gentle, easy going and high desire to please Goldendoodle puppies.  We have achieved this by starting our breeding program by breeding our Champion Standard Poodle with our F1 Goldendoodle.  They are called F1B Goldendoodles and they are the mothers of our F2B litters.  The F1B Generation is the perfect Standard Poodle but not thick enough for a "Goldendoodle".  So then we moved to the F2B Goldendoodle and F3B Goldendoodle.  For now our breeding program is focusing on the Standard F2B Goldendoodle generations.  We are very pleased with the results.

Dog's are here to stay.  Let's learn to live with them~!  Routine, love and discipline with consistency is the Key!  Don't force but motivate! 

Some differences between a kennel and a home breeder are the living conditions and socialization.  Not all Kennels are dirty and not all home breeders are clean.  Not all kennels lock their dogs in runs all day and not all home breeders offer great living conditions.  You need to make sure the breeder you choose is one that cares about cleanliness, health testing, socialization and the future of their puppies and adult dogs.  Having adult dogs or puppies living in unsanitary conditions has to have life long health effects.  Think of it this way ... if you have a sewage flood in your basement, you will find that they will remove and discard everything that was in contact with the contaminated water.  Well puppies and adults sitting in their own feces and urine has to have respiratory ramifications as well as compromising the maturing immune system, in my opinion.

    

Here at Ludwig's Doodles we maintain a level of cleanliness in the puppy area that visitors can come with little advance notice.  I do not believe in washing puppies before people come, I believe they should always be as clean as possible.  If our puppies go to breeding homes for part of the raising period they follow the same rules as we have here.  They need to be socialized with people including children, kept clean, given a large amount of living space and all around well kept and loved.  We use breeding homes - to ensure all our breeding dogs are family members first.

Every breeding home has the support of the entire family.  The two girls in Windsor come here often.  They have become our second family.  The two girls in Stratford act as if they are one of us.  Nala my sister-in-laws girl is one of us.  Keiko lives so close that we see her all the time.  Some how I have the support of all those in the program.  This year I have added three Standard Poodles ( one I kept back ) Dharma's puppies.  We may be doing the show circuit with them.  They will start my purebred Standard Poodle line if they pass the required health testing.
