The
agreed upon purchase price for a puppy is $1700.00. The payment may be made in two installments of which the first
installment (deposit) of $500.00 is due upon receipt and acceptance of this
contract. The balance is due before
or upon pick-up. This deposit insures
in good faith that the said puppy will be provided to the buyer. The deposit is non-refundable. Please provide a personal cheque, cash or
money order for the deposit. The
balance is due prior to shipping must be paid by money order or wire
transfer. If paying in U.S. funds
money is accepted at par.
It
is understood that the puppy will remain with its mother until no less than 7
weeks old. The pup is ready for
pick-up at 8 weeks unless other arrangements have been made. It is understood that the first set of shots,
examination, de-worming if required are included in sale price. In addition a microchip will be implanted
in the chosen puppies and registered in the buyers name with the seller
listed as alternate contact.
It
is recommended that the dogs be taken to the veterinarian within 72 hours
after pickup. This is to certify its
good health, which would have been done by sellers Veterinarian at time of
first set of shots. In the event that
the dog is considered unhealthy at that time, a full refund will be provided
as long as the dog is returned immediately.
All shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. If within one week of purchase the buyer
decides to return the dog for any other reason, all but $500 per pup of the
purchase price will be refunded.
It
is understood that at the time of sale this dog is a good representative of
its crossbreed and is suited as a companion and/or service dog. Beginning training classes are
recommended to insure a good relationship with the dog. Crate training methods are an individual
preference.
Although
highly unlikely, the puppy may take up to two weeks, depending on age and
temperament, before it becomes familiar with its new surroundings. It is
perfectly natural if it chooses not to eat/drink or be sociable for a few
days.
The
dog has a two year warranty for the listed genetic, hereditary defects that
develop to the extent of rendering the dog unsuitable as a pet, up to the age
of two years. Hip Dysplasia, Elbow
Dysplasia, vWD, hereditary eye Issues covered by CERF, Cardiac, Addisons and
Thyroid malfunctions. There are no
digestive or skin warranties on this pup due to the environmental factors
that contribute. In the event of a
hereditary defect the seller will reimburse the purchaser for Vet bills
towards the treatment up to the purchase price or the puppy may be returned
and a suitable replacement dog will be provided from the next available
litter. Medical proof of any claim
must be provided to seller's Veterinarian at purchasers cost including a
statement that unequivocally states it is a hereditary disease that could not
have been caused by environmental factors.
The purchaser waives any rights to compensation other than what is
stated on this contract. It is
highly recommended to get dog insurance because accidents do happen and there
are no guarantees in life. It is not
recommended to change the pups food often or to feed various treats when the
pup is young. I only recommend using
Purina Pro Plan Large Breed Formula or Royal Canin Medium or Large formula
after the puppy stage. Not all dogs
can handle all foods so to ensure the safety of their digestive system don’t
feed rich foods or spices.
The
buyer agrees to neuter this puppy within eight months of purchase. The buyer
understands that this dog is not intended for breeding. The buyer agrees to send proof of the
procedure. If this dog is used for
breeding $4000.00 is payable to the seller at time of first litter. If this dog is found to be neglected or
abused, the seller reserves the right to take immediate repossession of the
dog. The dogs are not suitable to
live out doors and are being sold as indoor dogs.
If
buyer cannot keep the above dog at any point, seller reserves the right to be
notified ahead of time and given first purchase option. The seller will help find a suitable home
for the dog.
The
Buyer certifies that he/she will be the principle owner and caregiver of the
said puppy and that the said puppy is NOT being purchased with the intent
that the puppy will be used as a gift or present to any third party,
including the Buyer’s friends and family.
That the puppy will receive scheduled vaccinations and annual check
ups or the warranty is void.
If
any of the terms of this contract are not met, seller reserves the right to
take immediate repossession of the dog.
The purchaser needs to maintain the dog’s ideal body weight, as
obesity can cause illness. It is
recommended to feed the puppy a large breed puppy formula dog food and to
switch to ½ adult and ½ puppy food at six months. They are currently eating Purina Pro Plan large breed puppy
formula. Purina Pro Plan is a proven
food and is highly recommended to stay on the large breed formula.
One
of the highlights of breeding Doodles is to hear how well the puppies are
doing in their new homes. Please keep
in touch; letters and photos are always welcome. We hope you will enjoy many
years with your new companion.
Questions regarding your pup are always welcome.
